Warning bug in 'cheat' gem
Reported by Glenn Rempe | May 7th, 2007 @ 07:23 AM
There is a minor warning bug in cheat gem it seems. When I run it I see the following warning:
mac:~ glenn$ cheat cheat
/usr/local/bin/cheat:17:Warning: require_gem is obsolete. Use gem instead.
Here is my environment:
~ glenn$ ruby -v
ruby 1.8.5 (2006-12-25 patchlevel 12) [i686-darwin8.8.2]
~ glenn$ gem -v
0.9.2
cheat (1.2.1)

I think this may be a problem with your rubygems install, not with cheat itself.
Check that file. It's auto-generate by rubygems.

Yes, I think you are correct. I discovered some issues with rubygems and rails installs on my machine last week and did a complete re-install. The warning no longer shows. Thanks.
