acts_as_textiled autolinking breaks

I installed acts_as_textiled from github for a fresh app, it seems the new autolinking feature breaks RedCloths' standard link formatting, e.g. A Link.
Sorry for vagueness, but github is down. Will add more detail/patch after the weekend.
